Supernationals V Nashville, Tennessee

I went to the Supernationals, and I had fun seeing stuff in the enormous hotel, playing blitz, playing standard, getting a trophie, blogging at 11:00 on Sunday night on the Chess News, and, well that's pretty much it. I took some pictures with my family. We did some sightseeing.

Our Hotel Room Before We Got There

We knew the hotel room was going to get messy, so we had to get a picture as quick as possible, but unfortunately, not quick enough... NOTICE THE FARTHER BED!!

This was on Friday, as we walked to our round 1 game.

We took a picture with these donkey-horse type things.

So much nature and we have a lot of pictures of stuff like this.

Now, out of the garden areas, we are inside the Magnolia parts, and this is the music station.

You can see the riverboat behind me and my brother.

The river had a list of where all of the water came from, I looked for Minnesota, and found 3 very familiar lakes, including the closest one to my home, Lake Minnetonka.

Round 1.

My brother's round 1.

You see the Andrew Titus pen and the pen from the World Youth.

We saw a fountain show.

And we got soaked.

I think this was round 6, and I see my friend Karthik sitting behind me with a red sweater.

And we see a lot of cool things.

Anyway, let's talk about the actual tournament. I finished in 5th. I lost round 4 against Gabriel Sam, who got 5 points. But I rebounded to get 6 points. The guy behind me, Derek Zhang is who I played on round 6.

One of my friends tied for 1st in the K3 U800 section.

Me, my brother and my cousin Kevin Chandra (my motivator) take a picture after the awards.
